Lugol's Iodine 15% (5% elemental Iodine) 500ml

Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove
contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

500ml bottle of Lugol's Iodine 15% solution. it is made up of 5% elemental iodine and 10% potassium iodide in deionised water. Lugol's Iodine is commonly used in the demonstration of starch and other polysaccharides and as a part of the famous Gram Stain procedure to distinguish gram positive from gram negative bacteria.
