5g of microbiological stain Haematoxylin ( CI number 75290). This stain is used as a nucear stain for determination of DNA based structures including cell nucleii and sperm.

Please note that this dye is usually used as a metal complex and must be part oxidised before use. If you are less experienced with compounding dye solutions you may prefer the ready made solution.
